Service Fees

Scarlet Thread Travel may charge service fees depending on the type of travel request.

These fees help cover the time, research, planning, coordination, booking support, supplier communication, and post-booking service involved in managing your trip.

Service fees are separate from the cost of your travel arrangements. Airlines, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, tour operators, insurance providers, and other travel suppliers may also charge their own fees, penalties, deposits, non-refundable amounts, or cancellation charges.

Service fees may apply as follows:

• All-inclusive vacation: $50 per room
• Cruise: $50 per cabin
• Hotel only: $50 per room
• Flight only: $75 per person
• Disney vacation: $150 per booking
• Tours: $100 per booking
• Complex consultations: $150 per booking
• Changes after booking: $75 per person
• Cancellation support: $50 per person

A complex consultation may apply when a trip requires extra research, detailed customization, multiple destinations, group coordination, special requests, or a more involved itinerary.

Service fees are generally for professional time and support. They may be non-refundable once planning, research, consultation, booking work, change work, cancellation support, or other service has started.

Before moving forward, we will let you know if a service fee applies to your request.
